Do you know your Pinot Noir from your Pinot Grigio?  Are you a real wine buff or just someone who enjoys a glass of chilled white at the end of a long day?  Whoever you are you probably enjoy tasting new wines.

Each session will give you the opportunity to taste around eight different wines, with finger food to match each wine.  These masterclasses are led by an expert and take place four or five times during the year. They are both a learning experience and a chance to make new friends.

Spaces are limited so, if you don’t want to miss out, please telephone Betty McDonald on 01292 479083 and register your interest.

Cheers all round for the new Wine Tasting group.
Phew!  That's me breathing a huge sigh of relief after the first meeting of the Wine Tasting group was voted a resounding success by all those who attended!  A full complement of members sampled 11 wines from "The Americas" starting with a glass of fizz from Argentina and ending with a dessert wine from California.  Delicious nibbles to match the wines were served much to everyone's delight.
Let's raise our glasses to thank "the Boys" at Majestic.  Cheers!

The theme of the first meeting is "The Americas".  Manager, Marty, (he'll be the one with the beard!) says there will be a wide range of wines so something for everyone!

First meeting Thursday 24 August:

Keep watching this space as the topic for the evening will be posted here nearer the time.  Make sure you're the first to know!
